An awareness program on SSIP 2.0 (Student Startup and Innovation Policy) was successfully organized on 29th March 2023 at the New Building Auditorium of Government Polytechnic, Jamnagar. The session took place from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM, with participation from approximately 200 students representing various departments mainly EC & Mechanical Engineering.

The event commenced with a welcome address by Shri S. K. Teraiya, Event Convener, who briefed the participants about the importance of innovation and startup initiatives in technical education. He set the tone for the session and introduced the key objectives of SSIP 2.0.

Following this, Shri R. K. Borsaniya, SSIP Coordinator, delivered an informative and motivational talk. He explained the scope and benefits of SSIP 2.0, including idea-to-prototype support, funding opportunities, mentorship and the role of institutional SSIP cell. Students were guided on how to submit their innovative ideas and avail support under the policy.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri S. K. Teraiya, who encouraged students to take proactive steps toward innovation and assured continued support from the institute's SSIP cell.
