An awareness seminar on Women rights, Pocso act and Cyber crime  was arranged under Women Development Cell, Government Polytechnic, Jamnagar with district law society ,Jamnagar on 26^th  October, 2021 for girl students & ladies staff of the institution.

The expert speaker Ms. Prexaben Bhatt,  member of District law Society & Suraxa setu society, Jamnagar delivered the speech for seminar.  She  gave very useful  information about women rights. She also explained how one can protect herself with the help of these Rights. She also discussed about Pocso act and different kind of cyber crime takes place nowadays. She guided the students to be careful against cyber crime and also explained what necessary steps should be taken in any victimized condition. At last, she explained how women can take advice and help of law society for in needy situation. Approximately 50 participants are benefited through this seminar.  

Principal of the  institute, Shri. A K Zala   delivered inaugural speech regarding the importance of the knowledge about women rights, Posco act and cyber crime. He insisted students to aware about different laws that protecting women in various difficult situation such as domestic violence.
